We are currently caring for 387 adult cats and kittens and the number of felines coming into the shelter is not slowing down. So…until further notice, ALL available kittens will be only $50 to adopt. ALL available adult cats will be $25 to adopt. We will continue to use the same adoption screening processes we always have and all cats/kittens will be spayed/neutered prior to being put up for adoption. The adoption fee will also include current vaccines and a microchip. This is a problem that many shelters are having right now and we, unfortunately, are no exception. Between the chronic problem of cat overpopulation during the spring & summer months flooding shelters with over 1,000 kittens during kitten season and “competing” with people giving them away for free via social media, craigslist, etc. we just can’t get them into homes fast enough to avoid overcrowding. So, please help us by spreading the word to as many people as you can and help us get these guys into great homes faster!
