WAGS HAS 7 “PORKIES”

…because sometimes you have to laugh at things that come into the shelter so you don’t go crazy! Last night we were given 7 dogs by the owners who had had 3 litters of puppies in the last year and brought us what they couldn’t place on their own. Don’t worry…a spay/neuter plan has been put in place for the remaining dogs at the property. BUT, let’s get to the part where we just have to make this situation silly in order to cope…WAGS HAS 7 “PORKIES”. Before you try to figure it out on your own (because we never would have thought this could be possible) we will define “Porkie” for all of you. The breed mixture of these dogs is Pocket Pitbull and YORKIE!! I know…I know…thankfully the dad was the Yorkie and mom was only about 25 lbs (we saw pictures). They will all be available soon, a few of them are terrified being here, but here is the breakdown of ages that we have. 3 four month olds, 3 six month olds and 1 one year old. There is only 1 girl in the group. Click through below to see pictures of them. They look VERY Pittie except they all have random wiry/long tufts of fur. They are very cute and will be excellent family dogs once they are fixed and the shy ones warm up! Come in and take a look at them!! We have named them all after “famous” pigs! LOL …like I said, sometimes we have to laugh at ridiculous situations to survive here!!
