Want to start your day happy?
Read these stats and send a hooray to WAGS! Our last year’s contract with the city is from 7/1/2018 – 6/30/2019. (We are currently in an extended year contract.)
WAGS intake number from both Westminster and Stanton was
2219 animals for that time period.
WAGS live release number which is how many animals were placed in homes, other rescues or sanctuaries, returned to owner or TNR was 2136.
That means our live release percentage was close to 96% for the year.
As the CEO, I couldn’t be more proud of the team, volunteers, affiliate organizations, Cortney and adopters. We hope that WAGS is making a difference in the animals lives and our community. WAGS SAVED many stray, owner relinquished, newborn and hoarder case animals in the year. Who knows what tomorrow can bring but what we do know WAGS is dedicated to its mission. WAGS has great staff to carry out our mission everyday. WAGS will keep saving animals as long as we can.
