Due to the pandemic and concern around COVID-19, we are taking precautions for our staff that come to work every day to care for our pets. We are asking the community to limit visitation to adopters and city services ONLY (looking for a lost pet or turning in a found pet). We would like to limit guests’ visits to WAGS at this time. You are welcome to come to WAGS to choose your forever pet, turn in a stray or look for your lost pet, but we’d like to decrease the wonderful socialization visits with no intention of adoption so we can limit close contact for anyone who may be at high risk. As you know, health officials have suggested avoiding public settings to decrease your risk of exposure. The community is still able to drop off donations of animal food and cleaning supplies. Also know that WAGS Staff are giving our pets extra attention due to this limited and temporary protocol.
