WAGS turns in its RFP to stay as the animal shelter.

On a wing and a prayer, WAGS turns in its RFP to stay as the animal shelter. The next 3-5yrs is to be decided soon. It’s up to the residents of Westminster and Stanton to get the “pause the RFP” on the agenda of a council meeting – you MUST act now! Attend the meeting February 12th – come by 6:30 for parking. WAGS needs you – but more importantly the animals need you. 10-15,000 animals will be effected! We know we are more costly than a kill shelter- but saving lives is not free. WAGS continues to cut costs everywhere we can to control the expenses but we will not philosophically ever change our belief in taking animal’s lives to save money.
