Why: Come to support the request for the City of Westminster to pause the bidding process for the Animal Control Contract. WAGS understands there will be a bidding process but the city officials can put the services out to bid at a time when the leadership has stabilized. Westminster is in turmoil right now.
We are committed to the great services we provide and will participate in the process to Keep the Contract BUT now is not the time! There is too much change and turnover in Westminster’s city government positions to make any long term decisions regarding animal welfare.
