Everyone meet Buck!

Everyone meet Buck! Buck came to us with a tail injury. We don’t really know what happened to him before he came in. He was terrified of everything and everyone. Being with us for only 2 months has helped him come out of his shell. This is one of many reasons why we need your help! Animal lovers – Call To Action#3
Two minutes of your time! It doesn’t matter where you live- we need to get the Governor’s attention to this important matter.

Contact Governor Newsom
https://govapps.gov.ca.gov/gov40mail

Ask him to STOP the bidding process for Westminster California’s next 3 years contract bidding for Animal Control Services. If this continues WAGS could be gone! Westminster, California could loose its no kill shelter. Stop the RFP bidding process.

Right now WAGS is bidding for this contract but within the last few weeks ALL the decision makers have changed and will not be here to actually see or care about the outcome of the animal control services decision.

The 7 city’s Decision makers gone from current roles.

1.The city manager resigned
2. The assistant city manager went to work for another city,
3. Three city council members are being recalled,
4. One city council member is running for higher office
5. One city council member is running for Mayor.

Stopping the RFP process is our only choice. Make the city fix it’s MESS before making it worse by losing WAGS Pet Adoption too.

Just use the link above and write to the Governor – Stop the Animal Control RFP – do not loose the no kill animal shelter WAGS in Westminster, California!
