2 of our “littles” got a shelter break this past weekend with one of our AWESOME volunteer families who also happen to be repeat WAGS adopters! Orca and Holstein (who must be adopted together) had a blast! Read more about them from their foster family below!
“Orca and Holstein, who have been at WAGS for over 6 months, got to spend the holiday weekend with a foster family who adopted 3 other WAGS dogs (2 littles and a Rottie mix). All the dogs got along great and Orca and Holstein were perfect little house guests. They enjoyed spending lots of time exploring the backyard, taking long walks through the neighborhood, and visiting other dogs and people at the dog park. They also had fun playing together and with their host dogs. They were pretty pooped at the end of each day, so they happily went into their crate to rest up for the next day’s activities.
Orca and Holstein are ready for their forever home. As mother and son, they are quite bonded and should be adopted together. They are crate trained and mostly house broken and would make a great addition to any family. They are mellow and very quiet. They can be a little shy, but a little encouragement has shown their playful side.”
